Overview
  • Export a list of bank statement lines not yet reconciled to a PDF or CSV file to work with offline.

How it works

Uncoded bank statement lines are lines from your bank statements imported into Xero that you haven't reconciled yet.

If you have the adviser user role, create a list of the statement lines and filter it by bank account and date to help you decide how to code the lines. You can also export the list and work with it offline.

Generate a list of uncoded lines

  1. In the Accounting menu, select Bank accounts.

  2. Click Uncoded Statement Lines.

  3. Under Bank Account, select either All bank accounts in the organization, a specific bank account in the organization or Bulk download across all orgs if you have access to multiple organizations.

  4. (Optional) If you select Bulk download across all orgs, select the organizations you want to run the report for, then click Done.

  5. Enter dates in the From and To fields, then choose an Order By and Sort Order option.

  6. Click Run to view the statement lines in Xero. To view statement lines in a PDF or CSV format, click Export then select the relevant format.

If you chose to export the list from Xero, you could add information directly to the file in the Your Comments column.

Tip

When you select Bulk download across all orgs, the list displayed in Xero only shows the lines for the current organization. You must export the list out of Xero to see statement lines for all selected organizations.
